Keynote Speaker-1: Prof. Martin Pedro Gomez

Professor Martin Gomez is the Scientific Director of the inter-institutional Program "International Center for Earth Studies" (ICES-CIET) executed between the National Atomic Energy Commission (CNEA) and the National University of Cuyo (UNCUYO). He’s also the head of the ICES Department - Elastic Waves Group of the Technological Development and Special Projects Management, Non-Nuclear Applications Area Management, CNEA and the director of the Acoustic Emission Group of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Delta Regional Faculty (FRD), National Technological University (UTN). Professor Gomez is also part of the Council of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the FRD, UTN and is a member of the Commission of the Doctorate in Engineering mention Structural Testing of the FRD, UTN.
He is a category II researcher professor from the Ministry of Education of Argentina (2014) and has been the maximum category (A) of researcher at the UTN since 2021. He has memberships of the National and International Standards Committees for the production of Standards in the non-destructive testing method of Acoustic Emission (IRAM (Argentina), MERCOSUR, ISO) , General Committee for Mechanical Standards at IRAM, the European Working Group of Acoustic Emission (EWGAE), the Latinoamerican Group of Acoustic Emission (GLEA) and the Argentine Society of Materials (SAM).


 
 

 
 
Keynote Speaker-2: Prof. Bekim Fetaji

Bekim Fetaji is Full Professor of Informatics (Computer Sciences). He works at Mother Teresa University (MTU) – Skopje, North Macedonia. He is Vice Rector for Science & Research at MTU since 2017. Former head of Research group in Programming and software Engineering. Previously Dean of Faculty of Informatics at UMT (2016-2018) and Dean of Computer Science Faculty (2008-2012) and before that vice-dean for academic issues in computer Sciences (2005-2008) at South East European University. He was the Vice President of Macedonian Board of Accreditation of Higher Education in Macedonia.
Received his PhD in Computer Sciences at the Faculty of Computer Sciences in Graz University of Technology in with the dissertation thesis “E-learning indicators- a multidimensional model for designing and developing e-learning software solutions”. He received his Master Degree from Oxford Brookes University, Oxford, England UK. He served as Visiting Professor in Staffordshire University UK, Tokyo University of Agriculture and Engineering, Japan, Polytechnic University, Tirana, Albania, University of Novi Pazar, Serbia and other Universities. He has taught in these Universities in English, Albanian, Macedonian and Serbian language.
Participated in several project within different programs such as Tempus, Erasmus and other national and international research projects. Published more than 140 scientific papers in international conferences most of them in IEEE and ACM and more than 30 international journals, some of them with ISI Web of Science impact factor.
Published 7 (seven) academic textbooks and 2 (two) books in English that can be found online at Amazon.
Main research interest and published work is in enhanced technology education, virtual learning environments, software engineering, and lately data science with machine learning, and closely related fields.


 
 

 
 
Keynote Speaker-3: Professor Heba Kurdi

Heba Kurdi is a professor of distributed artificial intelligence at King Saud University. She completed her PhD from Brunel University, School of Engineering and Design, in 2010. She then started as a research fellow for MIT’s Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics for three years. Later, she joined MIT’s Department of Mechanical Engineering, with which she is still affiliated.
Prof. Kurdi has invested in managerial skills, achieving executive certificates in Management and Leadership and in Strategy and Innovation from the MIT Sloan School of Management, along with a Harvard Business School certificate in Human Resources Management.
Prof. Kurdi has been working in academia for over ten years, during which she took on various responsibilities and leadership roles, including being the Vice Chair of the Department of Computer Sciences, Vice Dean of the College of Computer and Information Sciences and Vice Dean of the Career and Entrepreneurship Centre.
From these different positions and rich experiences, she has cultivated strong academic, managerial and leadership skills, as well as a deep commitment to the betterment of academia.
Prof. Kurdi’s research interests include bio-inspired engineering, trust management systems and distributed systems.


 
 

 
 
Industrial Keynote Speaker-1: Prof. Shafiullah Khan

Prof. Khan obtained his Ph.D. in wireless networks and security from Middlesex University, UK. Currently, Dr. Khan is a professor of Computing at Kohat University of Science and Technology.
Khan has over 15 years’ experience, as a leading researcher and academic within the field of wireless networks and Cybersecurity. He has gained respect both in industry, policy and academia. His research work span various interdisciplinary and collaborative research projects by applying technological solutions within areas such Automotive Engineering, Built and Natural Environment, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, etc.
Khan has supervised several students at doctoral level to successful completion in the areas of wireless networks, security, IoT, Artificial Intelligence. He has published many research books.


 
 

 
 
Industrial Keynote Speaker-2: Prof. Festim Halili

Prof. Festim Halil is currently Director of the Fund for Innovation and Technology Development of North Macedonia. He has more then 14 years of experience in lecturing and research in Higher Educational Institutions. He is Associate Professor of Informatics (Computer Sciences) at State University of Tetova. Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.
He holded several public services like General Director of PE Railways – Infrastructure, General Director of PE National Broadcasting. He was also Head of the Project Management office at university, managed innovation ideas and projects granted by EU and domestic funds.
He was also a Deputy Prime Minister of Macedonia where he negotiated about political and Euro Atlantic integrations, budget and implementation of OFA. Consultant for telecommunications and technical writer intended for protocols and wireshark help project. He was volunteering at Local NGOs during high school and university studies.


 
 

 
 
Industrial Keynote Speaker-3: Mr Tope Olufon

Mr Olufon studied computer networks and graduated from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David in 2014. He has gone on to acquire professional certifications including the OSCP and CISM. The bulk of his career has focused on offensive security and most recently, he was the global security and data protection manager at a semiconductor firm. He has managed and delivered cybersecurity transformation programmes, carried out risk evaluations and developed cybersecurity strategies for global companies.
He currently works in security research, advising businesses on how best to set and attain their security objectives. His research focuses on the current state and evolution of Zero Trust, digital identity, e-signature, and managed detection and response.
